When latching to a larger creature, the user will be pulled along with the gun instead of the creature pulled towards the user, but may nonetheless be eaten the same way as smaller enemies.
The weapon's secondary trigger makes the Barnacle keep its tongue out to let its user rappel with less or no injury. It is also useful as a handy melee tool to devour Headcrabs and Shock Roaches. Yeah I think metro police and barney model are same res.The Barnacle Grapple is most useful for latching onto Spore Launcher spores attached to Race X moss, occasionally bearing ammunition for the Spore Launcher weapon, and pulling the player to otherwise inaccessible places. I will accept the fact it is a circle I suppose, I'll just weather mine on the right side so it looks like a lighter red on the model. I think for mine I'm going to curve it to match how it looks with the shaders in the game.
I saw one build where someone used the exact dimensions matching all the polygons and everything and it just looked weird. I've been working off that autocad file building the mask to correct proportions. Thanks for the responses! I don't have much of the build worth presenting yet but here's a cool picture anyway! I got the actual model file from the steam compressed file into auto cad! Others have done if before me, but it was a challenge.
